Collection: Cédric Pierre-Bez
Cédric Pierre-Bez, inspired by the French and Belgian comics his father collected during his childhood in Marseille, held a deep admiration for some of his country’s most prominent cartoonists, including Giraud, Druillet, and Loisel. As he grew, he became influenced by the distorted aesthetics of the expressionist movement, Picasso's cubism, and the vibrant colors of Derain, which helped him cultivate his unique graphic style. However, the most significant influence on his work is undoubtedly Fernand Léger, whose mechanized figures bear striking similarities to the subjects in Cédric’s own creations.
